DC needs to hire a good writer for Catwoman, it's pointless to keep books with female protagonists if the quality is terrible. For almost a year now, Grønbekk has been meandering about Catwoman in an adventure where Selina doesn't exist and Catwoman barely shows up, new characters with the depth of a puddle, whom I'm supposed to care about, but all I want is to never see them again, they're hollow, forced, and without any meaningful connection.

The narrative is very slow, it's something that won't really change, it depends on each person's taste. It's gratifying to have such well-written characters in crime comics, Cass, Gordon, Selina... incredible characters. And, especially Catwoman, I couldn't even remember the last time she appeared in Tec, so having a character so important to the Batman mythos back in the game is something worth seeing.

This issue proves how DC needs to treat Catwoman better. Selina Kyle is an incredible, complex and indispensable character to the Batman myth. The dynamics, connection and importance they both have for each other is spectacular. (And I'm not just talking about a romantic relationship, but the respect and admiration built over the years.) Well, this was without a doubt the best edition in a long time, not only because of the brilliance of the new characters, but the pacing seemed less slower than in previous editions.

It was fun, but it stung thinking about what we were denied in the Batman editorial. Bruce and Selina's marriage would've been perfect. Trinity is precious, and I hope she can fix things.
