It's not really good. The art is great, but story is meh. The original Man-Thing #12 story isn't really better and I would like it even less without this limited series. Also you can find Man-Thing's origin story reprinted here, which is a nice bonus, why not. I personally wouldn't recommend to read it, but maybe it's just not for me.
