Jun 22, 2018Jinn confronts her lost past while battling foes that shouldn't exist. A fun story with teases of a larger story, wrapped around some epic action sequences with fantastic art. Jun 06, 2018Jasmine: Crown of Kings is slowly becoming a tale of bravery, but the development is slanted by a narrative which makes things too easy for our protagonist. To show victory in every conflict may seem glorious, but at the same time, this lack of loss leaves the reader with a hollowness which is never satisfying. It is only the sensational imagery created by the artistic team which gives us a need to return, but hopefully, in the end, a combination of literary and graphic talent will allow us something which neither could accomplish on their own.
