Oct 28, 2020There are a lot more scientific reactions in this volume as Senku has to go through so much to make antibiotics in this stone age. This volume is slightly frustrating with all of its fetch quests. Senku draws out this map to get to the making of penicillin through sulfonamides, rather than through living organisms, so achieving all the steps in this chart is going to take a while. It's highly unlikely he will get through all of this before Tsukasa finds him, but hopefully Senku's new friends will help with battling the extra-strong Tsukasa. Also, Senku banking on the assumption that an antibiotic is what’s going to help Ruri when he hasn't been allowed to examine her. This entire thing might be a waste if it doesn't help her, but the "magic" of needing to move a plot along has me inclined to Senku's guess panning out for him after all of this. Read Full Review
