May 12, 2022This volume has been pitched to me as “filler” in between two very dynamic story arcs, but I found it very fascinating and helpful to get some of this insight into the two warring societies. The "elements" Gotuge uses as the specialties for the types of Hashira are really interesting and non-traditional, so I'm excited to see how all of these different techniques work during battle sequences. There is a lot of light-hearted comedy as Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu train and recover their strength, and there we some bits of Zenitu’s horn dog self that come out as they train with girls.
