Mar 27, 2021This volume is still setting up the world and its complexities between the two kingdoms. There wasn't any hints of magic from the first volume, so it will be interesting how this power affects Nakaba and gets used. I am interested to see how she uses this to her advantage, or if any of the royal family finds out and abuses her for her power. While it is expected that Loki would not like Caesar, I am not as interested in the subplot of him planning against Caesar and the royal family. We also get another character in this volume, another of Nakaba's companions, but he is very barely sprinkled in with no clear indication of how he's going to play into all of this. Read Full Review
