Joshua Dysarts powerful meditation on the human rights atrocities and daily battles in one of the most overlooked yet war torn areas of the world is easily one of the most important sequential art series ever. Jun 30, 2010Rich Veitch, himself no stranger to intensely powerful Vertigo series, steps in as the issue's guest artist, providing a very different look for the series that's nevertheless true to Alberto Ponticelli's harrowing vision. The issue had me breathless all the way up till its final pages, when its tangential meditation on the AK-47 unexpectedly pushed Moses Lwanga's story forward in a significant way.
