Dec 04, 2013I've enjoyed this mini-series and issue #5 (as I expected) sets the table for a run to finish as Val contradciting the disease with a 100% mortality rate puts even more pressure on Strong to find a cure. I enjoyed Strong and Strange together here (and hope we get more of the two science heroes working together in next month's finale). Worth a look. Read Full Review

Nov 27, 2013Chris Sprouse is great, as usual. He doesn't get to draw much other than a bunch of science heroes standing around talking, but he makes it look good. You can tell these characters are heroes just by looking at them, and not because of their fancy costumes. They have square jaws, broad shoulders and perfect hair. Sprouse is one of the greats, no doubt, but Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril doesn't give him much to do, so it's hard to get excited. Hopefully this series will pick up steam and start moving again, the world desperately could use some more good ol' fashion Tom Strong adventures. Read Full Review

Dec 05, 2013As much potential as it has, Seeping in Flames falls short of tying in well with the rest of the series. As a consequence of the emotional fanning of #5 smoulders like a boulder on a bonfire. Hopefully Hogan's sentimentality is spent, and the last issue of Tom Strong and The Planet of Peril goes up like an All-American house on fire. Read Full Review
