Tefé is reluctant to embrace the godlike destiny which Sargon has promised her-until she discovers the wonders of the "morphogenic field," otherwise known as the Red, where all flesh is one. But does her father, the Swamp Thing, truly covet and fear her power over the flesh? And if so, to what extremes would he go to ensure she never becomes a threat to him?

Comics Bulletin - Shawn Hill
May 08, 2004Most of that place, wisely, is Tefe, the youngest and least tried member of the group. Its a hoot to see Sargon (especially Breccias devilish, wizened and levitating version) ply his wares on young Tefe. Its like a seedier, less powerful Dr. Strange forcefully conscripting a student. Now, if Tefe stays this dumb for long shes going to outlive her usefulness as a character, but Vaughan found levels within her teen angst, and Im confident Diggle (who writes a fairly hilarious Constantine, no easy task) can do that too.
