Comics: The Gathering - ToriBee

Comic Book Nuts - Jef Mendoza
Mar 17, 2013This is a great story that mixes Japanese folkore and European folklore to good effect. It concludes a long arc about Rupunzel and her first journey to Japan and then her return to Japan to find her children. It has fantastic artwork and good writing. Though the paper to produce the comic is cheap, I still feel that it's a premium product. Read Full Review

Razorfine - Alan Rapp
Mar 14, 2013I enjoyed Rapunzel's story, and hope to see more of her in the future, but I'm glad to see this story arc wrapped up here and move on to something new. The tone of the last couple issues took a darker turn than I was expecting, and, although it works, I'm hoping for a little more wacky fun with Bill Willingham's return next issue. Worth a look.
