Feb 26, 2020Vault Comics, a relatively newer company, hit their stride early on. Unlike other companies, who may have fallen off your radar, Vault have continued to make their mark, with fantastic story telling at their core. Finger Guns, is by no means the exception as the darkness of trying to cope as a teen, flirts with the idea of a quick fix in place of a sustained improvement in the quality of their lives. Feb 16, 2020Finger Guns, though the title seems silly at first, looks to dig deeper emotionally in a world that would be a better place if controlling our emotions was so simple. A fantastic debut issue with a shock of a cliffhanger, I can't wait for the next issue. Read Full Review

Dec 17, 2019Vault Comics has long had my attention and admiration as a publisher that is not afraid to make, amplify, or otherwise stand behind or beside bold statements, and Finger Guns is a bold statement for those who suffer in sulky silence in emotionally empty homes and classrooms. Feb 23, 2020Finger Guns #1 has swept its way into my heart. It is a smart and heart-filled look into the emotional cravings and needs of teens. Reminding me of my youth and my personal refuge in music, much like protagonist Wes, I can be sure that most people will find this story relatable. Read Full Review

Feb 25, 2020Finger Guns #1 is a simple concept, executed with the kind of single-mindedness that comes with total confidence in the book’s core premise. The story’s minimalism makes for a brief read, but it is a powerful one. All in all, Finger Guns #1 is an opening chapter that exudes the quality of a school library favorite. A series to watch. Feb 28, 2020The only criticism " a small one " is that letterer Taylor Esposito's cell phone texts were difficult to read even when zoomed in. Otherwise, Finger Guns #1 proves itself to be a highly relatable story for those living in the moment of their adolescent years. Read Full Review

Feb 26, 2020In many ways, Finger Guns reminds of me a teenage appropriate version of Sex Criminals: two protagonists with unique supernatural powers find each other and learn how to navigate their unique capabilities and the realities of life, and that's genuinely exciting. Richards and Halvorson have a solid foundation with the first issue, and I'm excited to see how the world will evolve in the coming months. Read Full Review

Feb 24, 2020Finger Guns #1, despite being quite standard for the first issue presents a promising start to a series with an interesting premise and great potential to hit top sales this year. The artwork is what did most for it, for now, but I'm sure the writing will bring itself up a notch in the next issues. This issue presents gorgeous art and is worth picking up for getting to know the characters. Read Full Review
