    Comic Spectrum - Adam Alamo

In all respects, the package Valiant put together is the way to do FCBD. It had something for everyone and showcased Valiant's most exciting titles, brilliant art, and top-notch writing talent. As a current reader, I feel like I got something new out of the issue. I also feel like this is the book I could give people to introduce them to Valiant comics. Read Full Review

In addition, there are some great pieces of information including first appearances, deaths, best team-ups which will be great for new fans along with teasers for new Eternal Warrior, Archer and Armstrong, and Harbinger series which has really excited a lot of the current fan base the past few days. Overall, a great FCBD book which I hope will bring at least a few new readers on board. Read Full Review

The only real disappointment was just getting the Ninjak preview. Sure, it is a fantastic preview. Yet, I would have rather had an original story and not something that was posted on line months ago. Otherwise, this was wonderful issue to use to get people into Valiant. Read Full Review

    Comic Crusaders - Johnny Hughes

So there you have it. A history lesson and some new material for you to enjoy and tempt you from the Big 2. The problem with the book is that is does it's job too well, in that once you have read it, you may well want to pick up the books, which will lead to some soul searching for which books to remove from your pull list. But hey, that's all part of being a fan. Read Full Review
