    Imperium continues to be one of Valiants most sophisticated books in terms of plot and character development. It challenges readers to think outside the box without the entanglement of a convoluted continuity. New readers can jump aboard the series with relative ease while established fans will enjoy the depth of development. This issue aggressively pursues plot while still providing rich character insight, making this one of the strongest issues yet. If you havent yet tried out Imperium, this is the arc to do it in.     The Broken Infinite - Frank Rodriguez

    Imperium # 14 has Stormbreak coming in strong as it delves into Harada's & Livewire's relationship, H.A.R.D. Corps grudge against Gravedog and the actual politic movements of the foundation. Evans and Arreola make the book visual triumph from start to finish. Dysart's smart and dense writing makes the characters and plot thrilling and engaging, with each conflict feeling meaningful. The only real downside is that Imperium is really feeling like it is Harada and his "little friends" with the other characters to help make the book distinct and interesting taking a back seat to guest stars.     Imperium #14 felt more like set-up though leading to something we don't want to miss. Will Harada kill someone who is like a daughter to him? Can Gravedog survive the wrath of those he betrayed? These are the kinds of questions we should want answered moving into Imperium #15. Read Full Review

    Not perfect, but not terrible, IMPERIUM #14 continues the story and expands it. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. The effort and care put into this book can be felt in each panel. Even if you don't like this IMPERIUM, at least you can say that Dysart and Khari tried. Not every issue's a winner. Read Full Review
