May 02, 2018If the outstanding Harbinger Wars 2 Prelude #1 is any indication, Valiant Entertainment's Harbinger Wars 2 event will be the hottest thing going this summer. Both stimulating and thought-provoking, Prelude serves an excellent lead-in to the event and should be considered one of their best single issues to date. Read Full Review

May 03, 2018As a prelude comic, I honestly can't fault this in any way, and that surprises me. The writing and art are very on point. If this isn't enough to get you excited forHarbinger Wars, I don't know what is. Read Full Review

May 02, 2018As the spark to Harbinger Wars 2, this creative team nailed what anticipation this prelude was supposed to generate. It was all about understand what would lead to this war and who lies at the heart of this madness. May 04, 2018Harbinger Wars II #1 Prelude is a mouthful of a title with a tight and compact story that serves as a good lead-in to the upcoming Harbinger Wars II event taking over Valiant this summer. Hopefully the full story will live up to this first step. In any case, this comic is recommended. Check it out. Read Full Review

Comics Bookcase - by Zack Quaintance
May 01, 2018While this issue doesnt have as many of the high-minded page designs and narrative concepts that made the Secret Weapons mini and one-shots such a visual feast, it is still heavy on character. Its an exciting and above-average event lead-in, but more than that it serves as a kind of a reward for any reader who has followed this crew dating back to its humble start. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Jason Laframboise
May 04, 2018Other than the great Livewire stuff, the issue left me kind of cold. The art was good but really didnt do it for me with the destination of the story, and the book itself was lacking any major developments other then one thing, admittedly it was a pretty major thing. It really wasn't enough to make me want to run out and buy it, but it was a nice intro into the coming event. An okay issue but we are onto bigger and better things! Read Full Review
