Feb 17, 2011Unfortunately, with these two issues Love and Withers bog down the story and severely slow down what was good pacing in the first issue. Issues 2 & 3 could easily have been rewritten as one concise issue and made for a much more pleasant read. I was a little disappointed after I read both issues; it felt as if there was really no point to each issue and that neither propelled the story along adequately. This is a very tenuous spot for a comic because if a book isnt paced properly readers will become bored and move on to something else that interests them. I hope this wont be the case with issue 4, simply because I thought the first issue truly got off to a great start. Read Full Review
