  The Free Comic Book Day issueis a full-sized kick-off for the series, and not just a preamble, it's the real first chapter. The crux is recapped at the start of Issue #1 but it's still on-line for free so there's no reason not to start there. If you're a fan of Oz, all-ages fantasy, or steampunk there's definite merit to this series, and overall it presents an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Read Full Review
