Comic Booked - Ian Yarington
Sep 22, 2015Tether starts strong and ends with mystery that sets up the series for a decent run or at the least a fun first arc. The extent of the sci-fi part of the series is hinted to and there are some hooks involving the plot of the first arc that I was really happy with and want to know more about. Read Full Review

Sep 22, 2014The comic read like any other of its ilk, but then the reveal at the end of the issue took me totally by surprise and FINALLY revealed the reason behind the title and (SPOILER!) that image of mirror worlds one upside down over the other with one gigantic building being a glowing tether between them was a really fantastic one on which the art team did a bang-up job! After having elected to drop the series, that page made me at least curious to see what the point of it was so chances are I'll try out another issue or two for now. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Adam Cadmon
Aug 28, 2014The characters, outside of Murrell, are a little flat; but this is only the first issue. I'm guessing we'll see more dimensions as things progress in the story arc. Speaking of, the story is deceptively layered, containing seeds of universal archetypes like suffering and determination, and hints of intricate caste systems (there are several types of Genetaclones that have yet to be revealed ) among the servant class.
