  Other stuff: Scarlet is a very special character, so Scarlet should have a very special look. And it does. Instead of the typical hardcover with a slip jacket, we get the cover printed right on the book. And though the 24.99 price tag might seem excessive for a 5-issue collection, it does come with the entire first script from Bendis"including a letter from him to Maleev about the character and story, which is great to read; and it includes Maleev's sketchbook for the first issue. That might not excite everyone, but it's great to see the creative process. I know my students will appreciate it"because Scarlet just became part of my syllabus. Read Full Review
