  If you've read Parasyte before in the flipped version, I don't know that there's much here to compel you to check out this new addition, other than a few explanations in the back that Del Rey often throws into their manga to give the reader a deeper understanding of what's going on. It's a nice touch, particularly if you're not deeply immersed in Japanese culture (and even if you are, some of the references are obscure enough that the guide becomes very handy). If you're new to Parasyte, however, there's no reason not to jump into this series if it sounds like your cup of tea. Read Full Review
