  Overall, this is a nice second issue. The story is progressing in a way that doesn't drag, but I'm concerned the three main characters won't be meeting again anytime soon. This could be troublesome as it tends to make the series misleading. I'm sure everything will work out by issue 5, but for now, I'm giving Superman/Supergirl: Maelstrom a 3.5 out of 5 Star rating.
