  Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal

  For me, reading a comic is an experience and I had an amazing one while reading this one-shot; one that could never be duplicated by a typical sci-fi or superhero tale. There was even a moment when I asked myself how I was going to be able to review this comic without the painful task of using Google Translate or hoping my wife knew someone that understood more French than her and having them read it to me. Wondering the entire time if there would be something offensive like a man turned into a bull yelling a child telling him his mother was a whore and that’s why she’s dead. For me, I will never forget this book and long to have a physical copy to keep forever for my amusement.
