  Does Kindred need a graphic adaptation? Probably not. Its great that one exists though, if only for the possibility of new generations waking up to the existence of the original and to Butlers commendable body of work. When one takes into account the fact that it was first published in 1979, it's painful to acknowledge that the questions it raised four decades ago are still relevant.
