Big Comic Page - Adam Brown
Jan 17, 2018Gung Ho #1 is, like Shrek would say, an onion; its got layers. Beneath the irreverence and obvious social commentary it also make me think. What makes you a baddie? What happens when you fight for a cause that you realise is flawed? Of course, if you prefer, you could simply gloss over all that highfalutin nonsense and simply enjoy the effort that these folks have put into this fantastic new series. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
Nov 30, 2017I wouldn't be opposed to reading more Gung Ho. That's probably the highest compliment I can give. It's not a perfect one-shot, but after a shaky opening, it manages to find it's way and be a solid story that's entertaining and different from most comics. Yes, the differences mainly come from the art, but for a subgenre that's seen it all, it manages to add a little freshness to it as well. Read Full Review
