Oct 10, 2007What Ferrara has essentially created with Deadlander is a decidedly retro-horror story, and while its intentionally stilted dialogue might turn off the casual comic reader, those with a working knowledge of comics history, and in particular the horror genre, will enjoy it for what it is- a fan-turned-creator's embracement of his favorite medium.
