  Rather like parts of London in this story, the creative team of Chris King and Jesus Hervas are on fire. This book is nearly perfect in what it does, and what it does it tell damn fine stories, full of rich characters and even richer mythology. TV's loss is the comic book fan's gain. Sublime.   Penny Dreadful #7 continues the dark atmosphere that's been in place since this extension of the TV show began. And with more than capable minds orchestrating this title there's a lot to dig about it. I absolutely found myself transported back a bit as I flipped through each page eyeing one panel after the another while the story itself just gripped me so in other words: this is a smart continuation full of quality work.
