Comics Bulletin - Kelvin Green
Jun 10, 2010Spandex has been receiving a lot of attention due to its LGBT trappings, and why not, since it is an underserved subject matter and audience. It is perhaps fair to say that without this aspect, the title would lack a high concept, but even if that were true, what remains is a fine example of the craft of the superhero comic, with attractive visuals, strong characters, and solid plotting.
