Aug 25, 2026Hatono's self-discovery journey and mission to reinvent herself at a new school is a universal story that will be familiar with many readers. While Light Music Club in this form doesn’t necessarily exist in many North American high schools, English audiences will still connect with Hatono’s struggle of finding a footing at a new school and making connections within a new setting.
