    Comicosity - Alison Berry

    Feb 21, 2014

Readers who enjoy their horror with a dash of supernatural are going to have a lot to enjoy with The Remains. Bunn and Zamudio say a whole lot with very little, and what they say isnt very nice, but its compelling and terrible and fills you with that sort of dread that forces you to keep going, even when you know you should run back upstairs and hide under the blanket. Bloody Disgusting - Zac Thompson

Bunn has crafted a simple tale of horror around a questionable love of rodents to create a chilling tale of lost innocence and threatening strangers. Its straightforward in its setup and smooth in its execution. It may not do anything new for the genre, so to speak, but itll assuredly get under your skin. Read Full Review

Its always a pleasure to see writers cut loose with their own creator-owned projects, and thats something Bunn is clearly doing here, creating a dark, sinister world filled with compelling and in the case of Cole Jensen truly unsettling protagonists. With an endless stream of "issue ones" flooding our way on a daily basis, it's important for a new title to grab my attention from the get-go, and give me a reason to keep reading. The Remains managed to do both these things effortlessly, immediately sucking me into a world of mystery, tension and horror. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

    Feb 26, 2014

With a title like The Remains, and a cover that is mostly black, fans of his work should have a pretty good idea of the type of story found inside. Fortunately, Bunn has proven that he is more than capable at telling scary stories, and with A. C. Zamudio on art, The Remains is in good hands. Read Full Review
