Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
Apr 02, 2014This series is getting really good. It started off good, but it's managed to grow and develop into a must read series. If you haven't checked it out it's definitely worth catching up on and you can do so for just four bucks as of this issue. If you like anamorphic creatures and the good guys taking the fight to Nazi's then there is literally one series in which you'll find both" The Army of Dr. Moreau. Read Full Review

Apr 14, 2014The Army of Dr. Moreau isnt a bad comic by any means. It just has a lot of tinkering to do. Pacing has been a little plodding, characters feel undeveloped, and the concept feels king. There is no real focus on a theme to speak of, so the book doesnt feel rooted in any real world issues. This may be slicing things too thin, but these problems are seemingly remedying themselves with subsequent issues. Hopefully with a little more time the creative team can focus on the core of their story, which hopefully are the characters telling it. Read Full Review
