Trevor K. Trevinski and Lance Powers were ordinary roommates until aliens visited a massively hungover Trev and gave him The Crystal Fist -- a cosmic weapon that he can only seem to harness using videogame controllers and he only uses to cheat on video games and steal cable. But when a monster attacks the city, Trev must overcome his instinctive laziness and Lance's bromantic nagging to save the day.

Analog Addiction - Jideobi Odunze
Aug 27, 2013Overall this is a fun book which has fun with the idea of superheroics. You'll laugh, and you'll get to the end wanting to see what happens next. The art style is clean and the facial expressions are handled very well. It doesn't try to be anything more than a book focused on humor and that is a reason to pick this up when other stories seem too intense. Read Full Review

Sep 08, 2013Knuckleheads #1, overall, is a pretty interesting read. While at times it feels as if the jokes are trying too hard to appeal to a certain generation, the pacing is good and you wont want to put it down until you see what happens next. Will Trevor and his Wii Remote be able to save the city? Its an odd question, and if it isnt enough to grip your attention, perhaps nothing will. Read Full Review

Read Comic Books - Dan Pennacchia
Apr 03, 2013There is definitely a specific audience for this type of book. For those individuals, this title appears to be a lot of fun. For those not sold but such a premise, there is little else here. Wilson's art is suitable, and similarly the colors are fine, albeit a bit flat. The books best page is a pinup that follows the first chapter, featuring a very interesting design that captures the heart of the title. The first issue of "Knuckleheads" is eleven pages of story with some back-matter that won't even cost it's readers a buck. Detailed in its afterword as being the first of twelve parts, this may be a fun title, though it remains to be seen if Winkeler has more to offer than is presented in the opening chapter.
