    Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal

    Apr 14, 2015

The biggest complement that I can pay this book is that I wanted to read the next issue right away. The world, the characters and the creative team won me over quickly which isn't always easy. The thing is this isn't one of those standout first issues that you can see fading quickly with the second issue (I read a few of those this week), but rather the start of a solid series. It didn't just convince me that it was a good first issue, but rather convinced me that it's going to be a good series from this point forward. And just remember it's only a dollar so there's no reason you shouldn't instantly check this out. Read Full Review

Big Comic Page - Craig Neilson-Adams

There is also an emotional gut-punch near the end of the story that jerks the wheel in a whole new direction, displaying the full extent of the power and fury that Theresa had been previously trying so hard to block out, leading to a powerful, explosive and surprisingly poignant finale. While it may sound like a cookie-cutter teen mutant story on paper, Behemoth has an impressive amount of emotion and depth behind it, and both Kipiniak and Woodward should be applauded for managing to handle this story in such an impressively unique way. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Dan Leicht

    Apr 09, 2015

Writer Chris Kipiniak delivers a story revolving around teen drama as well as government secrets. Theresa isn't quite feeling herself lately as her hands and feet have turned into claws and the fact she's acquired a thirst for blood, but unlucky for her someone has taken interest in these new changes and thinks she'll be a perfect fit for somewhere far away from home.
