Though its not without its own bloodshed, David Laphams current Daredevil Vs. Punisher: Means and Ends feels rather quaint after an issue of Ennis and Fernandezs raw exercise in emotional and physical pain. The bodily trauma that confirms the reality of the Punishers bullets puts the lie to the more comic book violence Lapham depicts.
