Dec 11, 2019The buddy movie we’ve been promised all along, I look forward to seeing the conflict growing between the two Yondu’s, and seeing if they’re both going to make it out of this in one piece. Read Full Review

Dec 11, 2019Well, here we are again. I was reading the other reviews and I found a quote that really stuck out: "Neither of the Yondus are good enough characters to make this series interesting." This series is obviously transforming Yondu into MCU Yondu, and most of the jokes fail, although I liked some of them. The art is pretty good.

Prelude: Here I am again reviewing this series. Welp, let's see if this issue interests me at all. The Good: Look, the premise is cool but nothing else works here. The Bad: It's boring and I don't know or care about what's happening. Art isn't too hot either. Conclusion: It's premise was nice but this series is just too boring to read.

This isn't a good miniseries. It just feels so overwritten, and neither Yondu is that great of a character, so their banter isn't that entertaining and the story itself is all over the place, with nothing to really ground you.
