This issue is helped somewhat by the fairly exciting bits of action that open and close the issue, as it's been a little while since we've seen the members of X-Statix in action as a group, and it's nice to be reminded that not only are they a formidable fighting force, but when their battle are removed from potential witnesses they resort to a level of brutality that would have most heroes looking upon them as truly despicable. The appearance by Spider-Man was also a cute spin on the idea of a guest-appearance, as we have the members of X-Statix actually trying to push Spider-Man out of their book, as there's precious little room in the spotlight, and they aren't about to share it with everyone's favorite neighborhood wall-crawler. However, this issue is somewhat undone by it's rather simplistic plot that requires every member of the team to actively despise Henrietta, including Mr. Sensitive who in a rather uncharacteristic move is the one who suggests that Henrietta must die.
