  If you love Rogue and you want to really see her in action, this is definitely the book for you. Like I said above, not only does she kick all kinds of butt in this issue; but she is also portrayed as a character that has her stuff together. She's grown up a lot, and she demonstrates that she is able to be a great leader both on and off the battlefield. Great characterization of Rogue in this issue and an awesome team-up between Rogue and Mimic make this a solid issue. Pair this great story with some beautiful art, and you have a winning book.   Read Comic Books - Tommy Lutz

  Overall, this was a mediocre wrap up to this series. I actually think the end of #273 was a much better place to end this series, with Rogue coming back from another dimension, discovering further control of her powers. These last two filler stories have been so-so after coming out of a great story arc. I liked the story as it stood on its own, but it didn't conjure any tears out of me like I had hoped it would. X-men Legacy has been my favorite X-men title for a long time running, and this issue just fell a bit flat for me. I'm looking forward to Rogue in further series like Uncanny Avengers, and I can finally get geared up for the Legion story in Legacy #1. Read Full Review

  It's sad to see such a storied title end with such a meek effort. The only spot of light to be found here is the positive message in Rogue's speech, and it's only earned after slogging through a nonsensical setup. This book really isn't worth your money unless you're buying it for a younger reader who may just be getting into comics. Read Full Review

  Comic Book Resources - James Hunt

  In all honesty, it reads like a fill-in, not the ending to one of Marvel's most enduring titles. Perhaps it was never possible to put a satisfying cap on that legacy (no pun intended). Perhaps the creators just weren't interested in doing so. It's nice that it ends on an optimistic note (which is something of a rarity in modern comics) but aside from that, there's little here that makes it stand out as anything special. Read Full Review
