This is an extremely solid issue, and it's a great tie-in to Spider-Island. Is it information you need to know for the main storyline? No. Is it tons of fun and filled with some awesome action? Yes! While I still not be a huge fan of the character Venom, if any book could make me one, it would be this one. I highly recommend this issue, especially if you're enjoying Spider-Island... even though it's just a bunch of people getting Spider-powers.... I still don't see the huge appeal of that. Spider-Island tie-in or not, Venom #6 is an enjoyable read. It might not reach the level of quality seen in last month's character study issue, but it definitely manages to entertain. The cliffhanger also leaves me with a lot of questions that make me excited to pick up next month's issue. Read Full Review

"Venom" is still a very fun title after half a year. It's like Remender wanted to honor the character most people love from the 90s and inject just a little more structure and character into the mix. There's a great moment where another hero doesn't know what to call Flash in the suit and it raises a good point: when people see this new hero do they know who it is? If they identify him as a new Venom, won't that only make them think of the villain? It's this sort of stuff addressed in each issue that make this book such a treat. Venom is being redefined right here and now, so come along for this ride into something new. Read Full Review
