No Venom to speak of in this, which is unfortunate, but this opening issue reads like the setup in a horror movie before the monster appears for the first time. Way does a good enough job of setting an unsettling tone, but sadly hid efforts are almost entirely counteracted by some truly terrible art. It looks like Humberto Ramos and Jorge Corona had a baby and it got all of their styles but none of their talent. Hard to write a genuinely scary comic when your everyone in your story looks like a Looney Tunes character.

It's a shame, cause this isn't badly written. It's just tough to enjoy looking at it.

The cover is 10/10. The comic is not. There was even no Venom at all, only his teeth in the dark. And I would be fine with that, if the art wasn't THAT bad. Imagine Humberto Ramos being 10 y.o. That's what this art looks like. The story tries to be horrifying, but the art makes it hilarious. So irrationally hilarious and stupid. Also it reads in 10 minutes maximum. So I'm really sorry for those, who bought this comic back then. It doesn't worth any money at all. It would be 5 or at least 6 if not for the art.

Not original at all, basically The Thing, and the art does not match the tone of what's being presented, very unfortunate first issue
