    There's only one issue of Uncanny X-Men left, and I do hope that it is of the same quality as this one. Avengers Vs. X-Men has been both a blessing and a curse for Uncanny X-Men, but if the next issue is this good, these two issues will more than make up for any of the weaker tie-in issues. Read Full Review

    Kieron Gillen paints Scott Summers as not so much remorseful for his actions, but instead a martyr for the mutant cause. Raising his hands in an X-formation is a profound action for a man that was corrupted by the same celestial force that killed his wife. Read Full Review

    Obviously with big events, fans find themselves conflicted in how to respond. The popular answer is often to shun it entirely given the repetitive nature of the industry, while others choose to embrace the shifting landscapes and constantly reinvented worlds. No matter how you feel about events, though, this is an absolute highlight of the entire saga. Call it a diamond in a rough or the crown jewel — no matter what, this is a can't miss issue for fans of “AvX,” the X-Men, Cyclops, Gillen, Eaglesham and Marvel Comics of 2012. Read Full Review
