Crave Online - Andy Hunsaker
Jul 19, 2012He's not going to be allowed to win, of course - the Avengers have to be the ones to beat them, and we already know this takes place before AvX #8. But Sinister is going to get something out of this, and I can't wait to see what that will be. Read Full Review

May 18, 2012A decent Avengers Vs X-Men crossover. Nothing spectacular, but I didn't feel ripped off purchasing it. Read Full Review

Jul 18, 2012I'm really enjoying this story arc and I think you should be reading it - it is a good mix of cheeky humor and action, but this may not be the best time to jump on. Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Andy Frisk
Jul 23, 2012While totally removed from the real world and comprised of complete fantasy and super-biological sci-fi, Uncanny X-Men continues to be high-brow superhero action and philosophizing in the best of the Mighty Marvel manner. Read Full Review

Jul 18, 2012Daniel Acuna's painterly work always looks great, but a few of the liberties he takes with the character designs don't always work. Doesn't Namor suddenly bear a striking resemblance to Hammerhead? Given the colossal nature of the battle, his work on the big moments make this a beautiful book to buy. Even in the hubbub of the battle, he still manages to work in a few humorous moments. Emma asks, "Is there nothing the vile man won't turn into a weapon?" After seeing which barnyard animal he turns into an explosive device, I'd wager not. Read Full Review

Jul 19, 2012This was an amusing comic with a confident & cocky villain being one step ahead of his enemies. Good stuff, I cant wait for the next issue. Written by Kieron Gillen & illustrated by Daniel Acuna. From Marvel Comics. Read Full Review

Jul 23, 2012To recap, I can see that Kieron Gillen is trying his best with this issue. He is taking what he can use and doing the best he can with it, but the shackles of Avengers Vs. X-Men are dragging the quality of this series back down. Whilst I'm hopeful that the final issue of this arc will have a few surprises in store, given that all of the Phoenix Five are fine in Avengers Vs. X-Men #8, I can't see there being much. It's a shame that we've been feeling the effects of the crossover for so long, even before it started. Read Full Review
