(Cover Date: August, 1987) Summary: In a dream world, two eagles interact, symbolizing Storm's & Forge's past relationship. On a mountaintop, Storm tells Wolverine to take over leadership of the X-Men while she goes to see Forge about getting her powers back. In Dallas, she finds his skyscraper empty. She is confronted by Forge's holgrams of her & him & by laser beams from his security system. She eventually runs into the shaman Naze, who had turned the holograms & security systems on to test her. When she decides to leave, he convinces her that they have to find Forge to deal with the threat of the Adversary. After she agrees to help him, Naze casts a wicked smile.
