Comic Book Bin - Zak Edwards
Sep 20, 2007Paquettes art continues to look better and better. The fight scenes were great, with characters leaping of the pages, fighting with unique ways to defeat the opponents that are quite entertaining. Bishops X-Men continue to look great in their new uniforms. The only complaint is the Jean Grey scene. The fact that her face is completely shaded out while her barely clothed body is shown to great detail is downright unnecessary. Read Full Review

Sep 13, 2007Theres still a lot of potential for Ultimate X-Men and the Ultimate Universe as a whole. The one saga besides the Phoenix Saga that has remained virtually untouched is Apocalypse. While he has only been seen briefly with a crazy version of Sinister, a meshing of Ultimate Phoenix and Ultimate Apocalypse could be exactly what the Ultimate X-Men need to succeed and reinvigorate the Ultimate Universe.
