Simply put, I'm loving every bit of this comic book right now. The lax limitations of the Ultimate universe have allowed Wood to create a scenario where the mutant plight has been multiplied ten-fold. These truly feel like the end times where if someone doesn't do something quick, then mutants will cease to exist. Kitty's determination to lead her race to victory drives the story forward with a page-turning tension that'll have you lapping up the story like a thirsty dog. Read Full Review

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the Ultimate Universe? I think I have. This book is great. I love the new story line so far, and love seeing Kitty in a leadership position. Rogue finds someone to love in this issue, and it looks like Kid Omega; however, it's the Ultimate Universe, for all I know, this could actually be Ultimate Doug Ramsey. The writing and art are fantastic here, and I was really surprised there were two different pencilers on this book because I couldn't tell the difference. This is so close to a 5/5 for me... so close. Read Full Review

I couldn't think of anyone else who could write a X-story without any of the major (and most recognizable) characters around and make it this interesting. Read Full Review
