I'd happily have Peterson and Ribic work together on more Ultimates, it is a very easy issue on the eyes. Read Full Review

The book functions less as the straightforward summer blockbuster of the Millar and Loeb years and more like the sort of heady, dialogue-driven adventure one would expect from Hickman. It's just a shame the fundamental strengths of the book are being buried by the art changes and unnecessary reliance on continuity. Read Full Review

I'm not going to play the "there's no action card" here. I get the deeper meaning of slower pacing, but this thing is moving like a slug that accidentally walked across a horse's salt lick. It's gotten to a point that I've decided that I'm not too stupid to understand the story because I don't really care anymore. I'm so apathetic about the plot and so frustrated with Nick Fury's more underhanded way about things that maybe Captain America's right… It's best to not get involved. Hell, I'm almost rooting for Reed Richards. Maybe turning to science is a better way to approach a certain level of peace and prosperity. All I know is the excitement for what was to come six months ago has nearly all but vanished from my mind. There may still be a chance to turn this around, but Hickman's got a hell of a lot of work to do to do so. Read Full Review

Ultimates 6 is another great issue and these last couple issues have been fantastic. Another shocking last page as Nick asks Steve to come back and be Captain America again. Speaking of Nick, he is written and draw exceptionally well and I really am enjoying this series

This really is not that much better, than an average comic... Also, I wonder what was wrong with Ribic here... He made only a few pages of comic and even there he used too much copypasting. The most of the art made Brandon Peterson, which is a great artist as well, by the way. I just don't get what's with the artstyle changes here and in last issues.
