X-Man's Comic Blog - x-man75
Sep 30, 2012Issue #1 of the Captain America as POTUS era was a success in my opinion. I liked Cap basically blowing off all of the politicians and continuing to act as Captain America, a man of action, not President Rogers, a guy sitting in an office signing paperwork. So yeah, all the Cap stuff was great, as was the way the other Ultimates were used. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Mat 'Inferiorego' Elfring
Sep 26, 2012This book rules. I know that's such a lame statement, but it really fits. I really enjoyed everything about this issue. Sure, I had some problems with the artwork here, but overall, that really didn't matter since I was so hooked in and along for the ride. A lot of craziness happens here, and you'd be best to check this book out. As I've stated numerous times, The Ultimate line of Marvel books is the best Marvel has going for it, so there is no reason not to read this. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - James Hunt
Sep 27, 2012Even so, this is a story that seems to know where it's going with well-executed visuals and a tightly-wound plot. Far from being a stunt, the President Cap plot makes sense in context and is being treated with sufficient respect by the writer. If you pick it up hoping to find out what Captain America does once he's elected, you definitely won't be disappointed. Read Full Review
