Oct 28, 2026Speaking as someone who loved the first two issues, this is a major drop in quality for a variety of reasons. Tomb of Apocalypse #3 is a disappointing stumble for a series that started with such a promising premise. Ashley Allen's character work remains a strength, particularly when exploring Rictor's complicated history with Apocalypse, but the plotting feels noticeably weaker this time around. An extended opening battle against an obvious robot threat eats up valuable pages, while Jubilee and the rest of the team contribute surprisingly little. Unfortunately, the issue struggles to make its action feel consequential, leaving the cliffhanger without much impact. Read Full Review
