Dec 23, 2011I do have to admit that the lofty rating received a bump from the last page guest appearance of one of my favorite characters in Marvel lore. Another great thing about Thunderbolts -- it's not tied down by any specific character or franchise so it can generally go anywhere and do anything. Dec 21, 2011Declan Shalvey does a great job creating the dark back alleys of London, which adds a sinister tone to the proceedings. Satana cannot help but steal each issue with her morbid yet sexy powers, and here she does so with the aforementioned tongue and a disturbing exorcism technique. Shalvey's consistent artwork throughout has made sure each character's flourishes and quirks are always present, which only helps enhance this stellar title. Read Full Review

Dec 21, 2011One time period was interesting. Two was stretching it. Three? I'm hoping that there will be an over-arching point instead of just visiting random periods from the Avengers' past.
