Odin decides not to kill Thor & leaves the battle with the Eternals. Zeus & his fellow Olympians then withdraw, since there is no longer any reason to fight. Based on the riddle of Odin telling Thor about "slaying him again" before he departs, Thor seeks Odin's excised eye & finds it ravaging a village of dwarves. Thor battles against the Eye of Odin until he has it constrained. (Cover date: February, 1980)
