Final ThoughtsAt the moment, I really enjoyed this book. The writing made me chuckle in a way thats sorely missing from a lot of comics now. This felt like a nostalgia trip to the late 90s, except with it being 2020. Additionally, the ending felt a tad overlong. Its fun but feels dated, not that thats a bad thing. Its like watching an old Jim Carrey movie; entertaining but youre glad things have moved on. The title is appropriate. This is The End and will sit alongside my Joe Kelly Deadpool Omnibus as a relic of a slapstick time. Read Full Review

I mean for Dugan's DP readers, this is a heartfelt story, a must read may I say. I frankly loved it very much. To my surprise the second half of the comic, with crazy half-baked classic DP one page stories gave me that warm feeling of reading something stupid the way only DP comics can provide. Great double feature of ideas for the comic. Joe Kelly just knows DP and me all too well. Perfection!

It's a pretty good book by Kelly. It just won't end and that's the point. It had me chuckling a few times but the craziness wouldn't have worked if wasn't for the outstanding art by Hawthorne, Olazaba's inks and Redmond's colors. Also that DeadPoolverine story needs to be real asap.

Deadpool defies the concept of ending by offering up comedic multiple-choice finales for his story. It's got great art and some good gags (I love the idea of Captain Marvel and Iceman being evenly-matched romantic possibilities), but it's very labored. Like, I get that filling a plus-sized comic with a half-comic's worth of story and then tapdancing to fill out the page count is intentionally dumb, but the intent doesn't cancel out the dumbness.

Im not normally a deadpool reader so maybe you have to be to get this. Besides a few decent moments this book sucked and was a chore to read.
