  (Cover Date: June, 1987) Summary: SF is onboard the Horde smugglers' ship enroute to the big Horde ship that will destroy Los Angeles. Aline mourns the recent death of Harold. They enter the Horde ship's docking bay under fire. Once they get inside, Jelene rigs some visual reader / translators for them. Radian & Marathon fight off Horde attackers. Aline finds the Horde commander. The Horde commander shows her the severed head of Clint from the Black Watch. Jelene finds the crystalline communications nexus of the ship. She finds a room of alien artifacts that the Horde has plundered. Aline fights against the Horde commander. She gets a message from Louis that they are leaving with something important that they've discovered. She escapes t he commander & finds the others near the escape pods. Over the other's objections, Marathon decides to stay behind to kill the Horde commander. The others leave in an escape pod with the other pods launched to serve as a diversion. Jelene shows them the memory crystal she took from the nexus. Aline shows Jelene Clint's Black Watch patch that she took. more
