(Cover Date: February, 1988) Summary: Radian allows himself to be captured during a Horde raid to save his teammates from being killed by the new Super-Hordians. The Gentle Inquirer tells him that there is a cure for the Morituri process that has been suppressed by the Paideia. Coerced by the Inquirer, he communicates this information worldwide. Upon his return, he is killed by Shear, who views him as a traitor. Before dying, he tells Aline that the Horde had no cure.
